Luxury @ Small Hotels

This is not for those looking for a cheap yet luxurious hotel. In fact, forget the word "cheap" because these hotels scream:
"EXCLUSIVITY!
EXCLUSIVITY!
EXCLUSIVITY!".
Not that these hotels are made only for the rich and famous. It is just that these hotels merely exude so much class and luxury even for small hotels.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World is a community of these hotels. As their name suggests, these hotels offer luxury and exclusivity. There are three hotels listed for the Philippines, namely: Discovery Shores in Boracay; Eskaya Beach Resort and Spa at Panglao Island, Bohol; and Misibis Bay at Albay. Looking at their online websites, one could definitely see why they are part of such an exclusive club.

There are other small luxury hotels all over the globe to see in this site as well. Check it all out!

Customize MyYahoo!

Yahoo has been putting up new things to improve their website. One upgrade is the My Yahoo! page.

In My Yahoo!, one could have a quick glance over what is important to the person. The page is highly customizable, from the columns, designs, to the content you want. One could even divide the pages, adding tabs for different interests.

The content that could be added has a very wide range. It could be news reports, blog announcements or updates, lifestyle, travel, entertainment, even the weather. One could also chat using the web messenger while opening up their mail using this page. With all these things that one could do with My Yahoo! it may seem daunting to try. However, contrary to that, this page is actually very easy to use and navigate.

Yahoo! to the next level

I may be last in blogging about this but have just recently discovered Yahoo!profiles page. This is different from the MyYahoo page. Here, you get updates from your other Yahoo! user friends, what they are doing, if they changed their profile, or even of they added something to their other accounts. You could link your profile page to various websites such as Blogger, Picassa, Twitter, and even YouTube. Yahoo! has definitely been building up their ante when it comes to being a website wherein you could see in a glance all of your other accounts.

Problem with this, though, is that most people only use Yahoo! for their e-mails. No one makes use of the web messenger much, or all the other applications in Yahoo! for that matter. For me, however, I find that Yahoo! satisfies all my needs for mailing, photo-sharing, and keeping in touch with today's headlines, be it in my own country or the rest of the world. Hopefully, others will take notice as well.

To get to your profile page, log-in to Yahoo! then click on your username, which is usually at the top of the page (whether it be on the left, middle, or right portion of the top of the page). You will then be transferred to your profile page, where you could blog, update your status, etc.

A New Japanese Wave

Dress-up has always been a favorite past-time for girls of all ages, whether it be for themselves, others, or for their dolls. But as there are many dress up games available in the internet, there are those that fall short of expectations. This is where Poupee Girl comes in.

Poupee Girl is a Japanese dress-up site wherein the dolls are very Lolita-like in the features (big eyes, sweetly-pursed lips) that reminds us of dolls from the olden times such as the early 1900's. One could try out the website for free but could also sign up to chat amongst other Poupee Girl members.

What is remarkable about this website is the fashion that is offered to users. One could literally customize their dolls without the hassle of putting only one clothing because all the others would fall underneath the topmost choice. In this website, one could pick several items then rearrange them as would be seen on the doll, from nearest to the skin to the topmost layer.

Another cool thing about it is that you could use this application from Facebook, one of the most popular social sites nowadays. So now, you could connect your Poupee account to your Facebook account. Enjoy this fabulous site! I have posted on the side a sample doll for you to check-out!

Late Night Laughs (albeit Politically)

Most people reading this would probably think... hmmmn... Letterman... Leno... O'Brien... actually, that's so far from this. I am actually talking about the two men who have made political satire worth watching. Meet Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.

Jon Stewart runs the Comedy Central show aptly named "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" (left pic) while Stephen Colbert runs the Comedy Central show called "Colbert Nation" (right pic). That being said, I guess they could introduce themselves far better than I could.

Watch their performance at the '08 and '09 Emmys.

Original RealiTV Buster

Revisiting old blogs... again...

Now I know that there's a lot (and I mean A LOT) of guys and gals who are very funny and entertaining on the tube nowadays. For me, a great way to spend my recreational time is to watch celebrity news and comedies. Fortunately, Joel McHale's "The Soup" is a combination of both! I really crack up watching his summary of the events for this week. He (or his writers) should really be commended. It's like Perez Hilton with a straight man and moving people. Hahaha.
There's a new female version of this type of comedy and that's "Dish" hosted by Danielle Fishel. The show has basically the same format as "The Soup" but has more of a feminine touch to it.

Yummy... ahem... Bodies

Here I go again with my list-fanatic-mode, but this time, I'm sure many gals and guys would appreciate this list (as much as I did ^o^).

I reviewed an old blog article I wrote from way (and I mean waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay) back in '07 about incredible bodies we see in music videos and stuff. And I agree that they are (or were) Bodies of Work.

The eye candies that would probably top my own list (if I were to make one) from this list are:

> Milo Ventimiglia (actor: Heroes) - Fergie: Big Girl's Don't Cry see left pic At least now that Heroes has been cancelled, he could focus on projects that make him look this HOT
> Anna Kournikova (tennis player) - Enrique Iglesias: Escape DOUBLE EYE CANDY
> Usher (singer) - Beyonce: Naughty Girl ANOTHER DOUBLE EYE CANDY
> Wentworth Miller (actor: PrisonBreak) - Mariah Carey: We Belong Together & It's Like That see pic at right
> Rachel Hunter (model/actress) - Fountains of Wayne: Stacey's Mom

Currently combining all my blogs into one ginormous blog...
Is a seemingly daunting task...
Hope I get things right....
